Birdathon Tours for Conservation

We are extremely fortunate to have wonderful dedicated people who lead birdathon groups down to Costa Rica.  Not only is this an amazing opportunity to go birding in Costa Rica and the Osa Peninsula, it also serves as a fundraiser for Osa Birds programs and activities.  With the support of our birdathon groups we are able to advance in many of the things we do in the Osa region for the conservation of birds and their habitats.  We want to thank our trip leaders and groups as well as the Paniagua family owned and operated Surcos Tours for providing the highest quality tours available, well…. just about anywhere!

Tours begin in San Jose and will take you up to Braulio Carrillo National Park and La Selva, up to Savegre and San Gerardo. You can then head over to Wilson Botanical Gardens and down to Sierpe National Wetlands (an internationally recognized RAMSAR site) and into Corcovado National Park by boat down the Terraba River.  Your trip with then take you on to the Osa Peninsula, the Golfo Dulce and around to Carate on the Pacific Coast.  You can actually design your own trip if you like!

Are you interested in becoming a birdathon trip leader?  Let us know, and we will happily tell you all that is involved.
